New Jersey (DIDI-NJ), which is part of ManufactureNJ, is hosted by NJIT and works with the New Jersey Department of Labor. DIDI-NJ is helping our next generation of workers, along with their parents and educators, to better appreciate and understand the state of the art manufacturing industry in New Jersey and the rest of the country. The old dirty, dangerous and dead-end jobs of yesterday no longer apply.
Today, advanced manufacturing offers challenging jobs that require advanced education and which provide and generate good salaries and benefits and offer significant opportunities for career advancement. The important objective of DIDI-NJ and its nation-wide network is to create an active pipeline of engaged, young talent to fill the growing employment needs of today’s advanced manufacturers.
