A special message from Jack Wagner '74, President of The Alumni Association of NJIT

How many times during your life have you got up in the morning feeling bad because you know you missed a great event the night before? Well, do not let it happen again.  The NJIT Alumni Association “Alumni Weekend” will be on May 19 – 21 and you do NOT want to miss this great event!  In fact you can sign up now and get the early bird discount by going to before March 31st.
This year the Alumni Weekend includes the following activities:

- Campus Tours (Including the Wellness and Events Center along with the newly completed Central King Building)
- Golden Highlander Society Induction Ceremony for the Class of 1967
- Keynote speaker and technology presentations
- Alumni Achievement Awards
- Receptions, dinner and dancing
- Greek Alumni Lunch
- Martin Tuchman School of Management Celebration

The biggest highlight of the weekend is seeing old friends and connecting with others you have lost touch with over the years.  Also, be the FIRST group to get a tour of the new Wellness and Events Center during the final stages of construction.  This facility will be the gem of the campus when it opens to the public this coming fall.  All of you remember “Central King Building”!  You have to see how it has changed!  Once you enter the doors of the renovated Central King Building you will have no idea that you are on the NJIT campus.  It is one of the most beautiful educational buildings I have ever seen, on any campus.
There might still be some days of winter remaining right now but by May, spring will be in bloom.  Take this opportunity to start off this spring season with a weekend at Alumni Weekend.   You will see the campus like it has never been seen before.   You will meet friends and have new experiences at a place that was part of your professional development.  You will have a great time and you will not wake up in the morning regretting having missed another exciting event.
We hope to see all of you there on May 19 to May 21.

I look forward to welcoming each and every one of you at Alumni Weekend.
See you soon!
